Welcome new students of the Faculty of Biology! Below you can find some practical information on how to use the Faculty of Biology Library (BWB).

You can use the Library’s book lending service after creating a library account by remotely activating the Reader’s account or in person at the University of Warsaw Library (BUW). To set up a library account, an Electronic Student Identity Card (ELS) is required. Setting up a library account, remotely or in person, is tantamount to signing up to the WB Library, BUW and other UW departmental libraries borrowing in the common system. The collections of these libraries are described in the common online catalog of UW libraries.
